So much of my parenting experience go like this... What used to make no sense to me what so ever now seems like second nature. For example, I always used to wonder why parents let their babies make a total mess why they were eating. I couldn't figure out why on earth would someone condone such a disaster. My perspective has changed...I love watching Samuel have at his food. I think it is hilarious and he is so interested in the entire experience. It is so worth the mess.

I love that second to last picture--his expression is priceless! He is growing up so much... it's so fun to see him having such a ball with his food.
I'm in love with this boy! So cute and quite the colorful food might I add!
Ashley this is tiff mears.... i found your blog and wanted to say hi!!! looks like everything is going really well for you. your little guys is so so cute. I love the messy eating too. but i am surprised at how long the "messy eating" stage lasts! it is fun to catch up!
tiff
i have a blog too if you want to check it out youngfanz.blogspot.com
These pictures cracked me up. I totally hear you on letting your kids make a mess.
I remember when I was a nanny and the mother asked me how I kept her kid so clean all day. I remember thinking, "duh. You keep the messy stuff away and wash her hands and face all day." A no-brainer, right?
Then I had kids of my own and I realized the more messy the more fun. And the more fun, the better. You can always wash a face/shirt/pudgy hand. And that is how they learn. they won't always be this messy. (boo...)
Cute post.
Mmm, green stuff.
Oh my, these pictures are classic! I couldn't stop giggling from all of his cute expressions. How fun!
Ash...He is so darling! And growing so fast. I am trying to get into the blog stuff but it sure isn't as fun when you don't have baby to show off.
